The UK is now moving on from the ‘delay’ phase of managing the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. As a result the advice around what to do if you begin to display symptoms of coronovirus infection has also been updated. The current guidance is to stay at home for 14 days if you have either:
- a high temperature
- a new, continuous cough
- or a member of your household has either of the above
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital unless you are so unwell as to require urgent care.
You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.
We continue to closely monitor and aim to practice in line with Public Health England recommendations. Please read and follow these which may be update faster than we can update the website.
We should all wash our hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water, and sneezing in to the crook of our elbows or a tissue and disposing of that tissue immediately, then washing our hands.
If you have any symptoms please inform us and we can offer a telephone appointments or video appointment. Please speak with or email our admin team to organise this. 0845 220 2456
As of the 17th March 2020 we will be moving all appointments to telephone or video contact. Not only will this help protect you, but also the clinician and the venue from unnecessary risk of corona virus infection.
